After 13 years with the Philadelphia Eagles, offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland has announced his departure from the team. In a heartfelt message on social media, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to coach in this city and the privilege of working with such talented players.

Stoutland joined the Eagles in 2013, under the leadership of head coach Chip Kelly. He then continued to serve under Doug Pederson and most recently, Nick Sirianni. During his tenure, the Eagles have achieved two Super Bowl wins and his offensive line has been consistently regarded as one of the best in the league. Stoutland himself has been recognized as one of the top offensive line coaches in the game.

Many players, including Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Jason Peters, have reached the Pro Bowl or received All-Pro honors while under Stoutland's guidance. Kelce, who credits Stoutland for his successful career, shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing his admiration and gratitude for his coach.

In 2018, Stoutland's job title was expanded to include "run game coordinator." However, there have been reports that this responsibility may have been taken away from him during this past season. According to Jeff McLane of the Inquirer, this was not necessarily due to Stoutland's performance, but rather a decision made by the team.

Despite this, it is clear that Stoutland's impact on the team's success has been significant. He has been a key figure in the development of the Eagles' dominant offensive line and has played a major role in the team's achievements. While it is uncertain what the future holds for Stoutland, his departure leaves a major void in the Eagles' coaching staff... Eagles New Offensive Coordinator Sean Mannion will look to bring in some of his own guys.
